Versatile athlete who has seen action at catcher, second, third, shortstop, left field and as a pitcher in his first three seasons at San Diego State...Played on state high school championship teams in baseball, basketball and football.

SDSU 2003: Became SDSU's starting second baseman just prior to the start of conference play in mid-March...Appeared 23 time at that position and played third base in 14 contests...Also had one appearance in the outfield...Had a season personal best six-game hitting streak in late March...In those contests, hit .391 (9-for-23) with a double, triple and five runs scored...Bated .270 in 21 Mountain West Conference contests...Fielded .959 at second base during the season...Best day at the plate was a 3-for-4 effort with a double, walk and two runs scored at New Mexico on April 12...Made his Aztec pitching debut with one inning of work vs. UNLV at the Mountain West Conference Tournament in late May.
