Local product who returned to San Diego for the 2003 season after one season at the University of Arizona...Began his Aztec career in the role of closer at SDSU, but has since been moved to primarily middle relief...Will likely see action as a setup reliever during his senior campaign.

SAN DIEGO STATE 2005: Made 14 of his 16 appearances in relief as a junior...First start as an Aztec came against UC Irvine on April 12, giving up one hit in his one inning of work...Other start came vs., UNLV on May 27 at MWC tournament...Recorded a save in SDSU's extra-inning win at South Alabama on March 6...Picked up the win in the game at Utah on May 8, going the final three innings (his longest stint of the year)...He retired all nine batters he faced in that contest, striking out three as the Aztecs won in 10 innings...Started the exhibition game vs. the San Diego Padres (March 30), throwing one perfect inning and retiring Eric Young, Mark Loretta and Brian Giles.
