Was named the Mountain West Conference Pitcher of the Week for his performance in that game against UNLV on May 21 ... Making his first start since March 6 in that contest, he went 8.0 innings allowing no runs on two hits with three walks and four strikeouts ... His effort helped hand UNLV its first shutout of the season ... Opened his collegiate career with an impressive start vs. Winthrop in the third game of the season ... Retired the first 15 batters he faced in that contest with only two hit balls leaving the infield (both fly outs to center field) ... He recorded the win with six full innings of work allowing the one run and one hit while striking out three and walking three ... Had his best performance since the opening weekend of the season with a stellar relief effort against Cal State Northridge on May 10 ... He entered the game in the second inning with two men on and no outs and went on to toss the next 7.2 innings, allowing a run on three hits with two walks and seven strikeouts ... The seven K's against Northridge marked his season high ... Allowed a run with five strikeouts over three innings in his final appearance of the season vs. Brigham young on May 26.
