Recorded his first hit (a single to center field) as an Aztec in the win over CSU Northridge on March 29 ... Went 3-for-3 in a pinch hitting role ... Had an RBI single and scored twice in the win at UNLV on May 20 ... Made three starts as a pitcher with a loss (vs. BYU May 14) and two no decisions (vs. UC Riverside April 26 and at Utah May 8) ... Best start came at Riverside where he tossed seven innings allowing two runs on four hits with a pair of walks and two strikeouts, but was not involved in the decision against the Highlanders ... In the May 1 game at Western Carolina, entered the game with SDSU holding a two-run lead ... After WCU put runners on second and third with no out, he retired the next three hitters to record his first save as an Aztec...As a reliever gave up just two runs in 12 relief appearances with seven strikeouts in 9.2 innings for a 1.86 earned run average.
