Professional Background
I served as a Graduate Assistant in the Center for Student-Athlete Academic Support Services at Texas A&M University in 2000 where I advised six athletic teams and was also the Volunteer Coach for the women's volleyball team. Upon completion of my Master's degree, I moved to Indianapolis, IN to work at Butler University as the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance/Academic Services. During my two years at Butler, I also advised nine athletic teams and served as the director of compliance for the university. I ultimately accepted a position as an Academic Advisor in the Athletics Department at San Diego State University in 2003.
