SAN DIEGO - In conjunction with an Oct. 9 clinic, the San Diego State cheerleading squad will be joined by members of the public Saturday for a special performance during halftime of the SDSU-Colorado State football game at Qualcomm Stadium.

A week ago, the Aztec cheer squad sponsored a five-hour clinic on campus to teach motion and jumping technique, dancing, stunting and tumbling through one-on-one instruction. Those who attended the clinic learned dances and cheers to perform with the SDSU cheerleaders at the half this Saturday.

The kickoff time for the Aztecs-Rams game is set for 4:05 p.m. and can be seen locally on the ABC-affiliate KGTV-Channel 10.
