With 1,286 assists, Lauren Van Orden now appears on the single-season list in the seventh spot; her 1,684 assists career total moves her into the 10th spot on the SDSU career list ... Junior middle blocker Lauren Salisbury finished the season ranked sixth on the SDSU career hitting percentage chart at .328 ... As a team, SDSU finished first in the MWC overall team stats in assists (12.40/set) and second in kills (13.29/set) and individually Lauren Van Orden's 11.18 assists/set is the best average in the MWC ... Libero Kristi Jackels placed third in the conference in digs with a mark of 4.04/set, Andrea Hannasch was fourth in blocking (1.14 per set), eighth in points (3.24 per set) and 10th in hitting percentage (.288), Lauren Salisbury ranked fourth in hitting percentage (.350), and Kyley Sexton was eighth in kill average at 2.74 per set ... Goalkeeper Kelly Campoli and utility Amber Pezzolla earned Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) honorable mention All-America honors... SDSU has had at least one All-American in 15 straight seasons and the multiple accolades marked the 11th time in school history in which the program has had more than one player recognized... The Aztecs have had at least two players earn All-America honors four straight season... Pezzolla was named to the all-MPSF second team and all-freshman squad...
