Information
Mike Reiss of the The Boston Globe, "O'Connell was on the field for
27 snaps against the Ravens, entering late in the third quarter and playing the
remainder of the game. He finished 6 of 13 for 57 yards with one interception (a
pass that should have been caught by C.J. Jones), and added 22
rushing yards on two carries." Today's Clips
John Felty of The New London Day, "Kevin
O'Connell's numbers look scary, 6 of 15 for 61 yards, but he made some nice
throws and led them to their first touchdown. If Gutierrez can come back from
injury and perform well next week, Cassel may be out and O'Connell will hang
onto the three spot and develop."
Today's Clips
Rich Garven of the Worcester Telegram, "Fellow rooks
Terrence Wheatley, Shawn Crable and Kevin O'Connell showed
enough to get you thinking the Patriots hit the mother lode with this draft
class."
Today's Clips
Larry Stone of the The Seattle Times, "At least the "winner" of the
worst-team sweepstakes has the consolation of being first in line for San Diego
State phenom Stephen Strasburg. The only collegiate player on the U.S. Olympic
team, the right-hander struck out 23 in a game against Utah this year and is the
consensus No. 1 overall pick."
