Don't forget to mark you calendars for a pair of upcoming football events.
Saturday is the annual Family Day Scrimmage
at Qualcomm Stadium. Admission and parking is free with the gates scheduled to open at 1 p.m. and the scrimmage slated to begin at 2
p.m. Next Wednesday night is the second annual
Football 101 for Women. The clinic is designed for women to learn the basics of the game in a relaxed setting and experience Aztec
football first hand.
San Diego State's own Stephen Strasburg had a stellar performance in Beijing as he pitched 7 innings, striking out 11.
The U.S. team finished with a 7-0 victory over the Netherlands.
