SAN DIEGO - The Aztec Athletic Foundation will be hosting the 2001 Aztec Football Kickoff Luncheon on Tuesday, August 21st, at Noon at the Town and Country Hotel in Mission Valley.

The annual event sponsored by the AAF serves as the official kickoff of the 2001 season for all SDSU fans. San Diego State opens its season in a nationally-televised game (ESPN2) against the University of Arizona on Thursday, August 30th at 7 p.m. at Qualcomm Stadium.

The luncheon is always an exciting event, and has doubled in size over the past two years. It's a great way to meet and mingle with members of the 2001 Aztec football squad and coaching staff, who are seated at your table during the event. The day also features a video in which players introduce themselves. The event is capped off by Aztec head coach Ted Tollner discussing the upcoming 2001 season and opponents. It's a fun and exciting day that Aztec fans won't want to miss.

Tickets are $40 for individuals, and $110 for two tickets and the sponsorship of one member of the Aztec football team. Corporate tables are available for $350. They include eight tickets and the sponsorship of two student-athletes at your table for the entire day.
