SAASS SAASS employs tutors from various subject areas from many major departments. Drop-in tutoring in math and writing are available at many times throughout the day in the SAASS Math. Lab. and Writing Center.

These individuals assist student-athletes with subject-specific material by reviewing and clarifying course material, and working on student-athlete study habits, including:

• Assisting in the creation of flash cards
• Reading with the student-athlete
• Reviewing class notes
• Quizzing the student-athlete
• Assisting in the creation of outlines for papers/assignments
• Providing both individualized and group tutoring sessions
• Holding final exam review sessions
