San Diego State University's Academic Policy and Planning Committee has distinguished SDSU student-athletes as one of several campus constituencies in need of special course scheduling consideration. As a result, Aztec student-athletes in good academic standing enjoy the privilege of registering for each new term at a "priority" date and time slightly before that of the general student population. The privilege ensures that student-athletes who work closely with their SAASS academic advisors will almost certainly receive spots in all necessary classes, and at convenient times for their academic, athletic and personal schedules.
