Study Space
SAASS is fortunate to offer its student-athletes 8 distinct study rooms of varying size, encompassing a total of 1540 square feet on the third floor of Aztec Athletic Center. These rooms are currently used to provide the following academic opportunities for Aztec student-athletes:
- 4 individual study rooms - each used for mentoring and tutor meetings as well as small group and individual study sessions
- Math Lab- Staffed Sunday-Thursday with math tutors for General Math Studies, Social Statistics, and Calculus. Tutors are available for individual tutor appointments made through the SAMS system
- Writing Center - Staffed Sunday-Thursday with writing/English tutors for Rhetoric and Writing Studies, English/Literature, and proof reading of papers for other subjects. Tutors are available for individual tutor appointments made through the SAMS system.
- 2 multi-purpose lecture halls- used for the Freshmen seminar courses taught in the fall and evening quiet study hall rooms.
